Blues Moon

We had a lovely time at the Blues Moon cabin this past weekend. The cabin is so beautiful and were given a little gift of snow on Sunday evening. The children got a kick out of sitting in the hot tub with the snow falling. We would definitely like to come back again at a time when we can enjoy more of the trails in the Gorge. Our Christman was surely complete with our trip to the Blues Moon. Also, the girls that work in the office are all wonderful to work with and so very happy to help with any of our needs.
Have a wonderful New Year.

The Woodsman

My husband and I stayed in a Birch Hollow Cabin (The Woodsman) for our 25th anniversary. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. I was amazed at how clean the cabin and appliances/furnishings were. We visited Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge while there, with the Gorge being totally awesome. It was great to come back (home) to our cabin, and relax in the hot tub. That was a daily ritual. My husband has rheumatoid arthritis, and it was very therapeutic for him. We picked the end of October to visit, hoping the fall scenery would still be great, and was it ever. Every fall color imaginable. We also enjoyed the view we had from the cabin, and also the road we drove on to get there. The fireplace was great also. So romantic and warmth also. I hoped to see some wildlife while we were there. It rained all night Friday night, and there were 2 does in the stream as we went for breakfast Saturday morning. We got to see hundreds of wild turkeys. Maybe next time we visit, we will see a bear. We think that visiting in winter, with a snowy scenery would be great, so hopefully we can make it back there in January or February. We are definitely coming back. Libby & Don Hay

Brookside

What an amazing group of cabins you have offered travelers seeking some relaxation and privacy in the Red River Gorge area. Each cabin was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We stayed in Heaven on a Hilltop for our first visit and Brookside for the second, and I am looking forward to staying in another cabin on our third visit to the area. One of the most relaxing parts of the trip begins with our favorite morning past time....sitting on the front porch....listening to the sounds of nature....while enjoying our morning coffee...See you next year.
