Are you an avid hiker?  The USDA Forest Service lists 39 great day hiking trails in the Gorge and provides detailed information on each one.  Why not set a goal for seeing all of them?  Natural Bridge offers a challenging hike up or down the mountain to the famous sandstone Natural Bridge arch that is millions of years old. 

Or just explore the Dale Hollow hiking trail right in our private development at Birch Hollow.   It’s a great hike you can enjoy without leaving the Hollow at all, and if you haven’t stayed with us in the last year or so, it will be a brand new adventure for you.

Do you love water adventures?  Hemlock Lodge opens their enormous swimming pool at family-friendly rates during summer months, or head out to the Gorge and leap off the huge rocks into the Red River below!
